Matcha (formerly known as "last tea" in ancient China) originated in the Sui and Tang dynasties of China. The tender leaves of spring tea were steamed and then made into tea cakes (or "ball tea") for preservation. Before consumption, put it on the fire and bake it dry again. Grind it into powder with a natural stone mill, which has the effects of refreshing the mind, improving eyesight, and beautifying the face.
